Scott & Elaina Mundorff’s wedding at Le Jeune Chef in Williamsport was a great wedding! In the beginning stages of planning, I was a little nervous how things would go considering this was going to be a dry wedding held on the campus of Penn College, but once we moved from Le Jeune Chef into the Keystone Room and started the dancing, this group proved they came to party!
D.C. Entertainment’s Role
Scott & Elaina chose my Heart Beats (Love & Music) package. This means I provided DJ, MC and sound system only, so in other words the lights stayed at home. This was a perfect package for the dancing portion of the reception. Along one set of walls were about 20 foot windows that allowed the August sunshine to flood the dance floor. Any lighting we would have used for the dance floor would have been a waste.
There are a couple of moments that stand out. The first happened shortly after we started open dancing; Scott was dancing with one of the kids in his family and Elaina was dancing with one of her bridesmaids. As they danced, they caught a glimpse of each other and smiles on their faces couldn’t have gotten any bigger. Something about watching that moment just stood out as pure enjoyment.
The second moment came at the end of the night. For part of the closing festivities we did the “circle of love.” Scott & Elaina danced together in the center of a circle comprised of family and friends holding hands. You could feel the love everyone had for the newlyweds, and sense that Elaina & Scott felt it too.
Le Jeune Chef
This was the first time I’ve ever worked with Michael Triassi, Amy, and the staff from Le Jeune Chef. Being from the area, I’ve always heard of the elegance of Le Jeune Chef, but never had an opportunity to work with them before. Their reputation is spot on as the food was superb and the staff was courteous and helpful. You would think that weddings were their specialty. If you’re looking for a venue, then I’d recommend getting in touch with Michael and find out just what they can do for you.
I had so much fun at Elaina & Scott’s wedding. Thanks so much for having me!
